WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS?
This course is tailored towards occupational health & safety practitioners (OHASPs) requiring a strong core knowledge and higher level management. It is recommended that you have completed a NEBOSH National General Certificate prior to sitting this qualification, but this is not necessary.
ABOUT THE COURSE
This qualification will provide core knowledge which is transferable between the different occupational sectors in which OHASPs may work. This course is equivalent to an honours degree level, so may be difficult if you do not have the background knowledge and/or ability to study at this level.
YOU WILL LEARN:
- Get a balanced perspective of the full scope of occupational safety and health issues
- Be able to organise and communicate an effective safety program
- Learn techniques to identify and target hazards specific to your organisation and take actions to prevent incidents
When can I sit my exams?
The written exams for the NEBOSH National Diploma are held in January and July.
When must I submit my practical assignment (Unit D)?
The practical assignment can be submitted in February, May, August or November, and the exact submission date will depend on when you wrote and passed your written exams.
